The Band

Jerry is a lifelong musician who started playing Irish Folk music in his early 20's.  He is thrilled to be in a band with his wife, his children and his extended family.  Jerry plays acoustic guitar when playing as a solo act.

Ann has a passion for Irish and Scottish folk music and loves being part of a family group that celebrates this tradition.  Her paternal grandparents were born and raised in Scotland.  Her maternal grandmother was born and raised in Ireland.  

Megan is an accomplished young musician of Scottish and Irish descent.  Her guitar playing adds sparkle and energy to The O'Rourkes.  She looks forward to carrying on the tradition of Celtic music with her extended family.

Katie, also of Scottish and Irish descent, is an accomplished young musician with an extensive vocal performance background.  Her beautiful voice adds a whole new dimension to The O'Rourkes.

Patrick is excited to be carrying on the tradition of playing a truly unique Irish instrument with his family.   He is looking forward to adding the spoons and the bones in the coming years.   

We are a family band.  As a result,  our children and older members start new adventures in their lives.  These members may occasionally join us for performances as their schedules permit.

Jack is an avid student of the guitar.  He is presently away in college.

Brendan is an avid student of the banjo.   He is also away at college.

The youngest O'Rourke, Aidan has taken up the Bodhrán to give the band a traditional Irish sound.  

Peter is a lifelong musician who picked up the banjo to round out the sound of the group.
